1. Assessment and Strategy

We start by performing a full assessment of your current marketing. We look at your online presence, your positioning, and how it compares to your top 3 competitors. We create a profile of your top (2-3) buyer personas, and conduct an in-depth key word research. This is a very important step. There are literally thousands of different keyword combinations that someone might use when looking for a provider such as yourself; however, many of them are not that important to your business. We determine your most relevant keywords through our proprietary framework that helps narrow down your most profitable ones.

Once the assessment is complete, we conduct a strategy session with you. We review the results, set realistic goals with you, and discuss the plan of action for the first 3 months.

2. Taking Over Your Website

You might be a promo company that has been in business for 20 or more years and has never set up a custom website, or have spent precious time in building your own, or maybe you have invested thousands of dollars in professional design. In either case, we are going to take over the management of your website and get to work. If you have a proper custom professional website we are going to tweak it to take it to the next level. If you don’t, we will build one for you.

Also, if you are targeting your geographic area, we optimize your website accordingly so it’s indexed in Google for your city and surrounding areas in your market.

3. Develop Additional Pages On Your Website

The typical promotional products website has 3 to 5 pages: Home, About Us, Contact Us, and maybe another 2 or 3 more. This is NOT enough to rise above your competition in the rankings, as potential clients type in many different keyword that are relative to not only promotional products as such, but also it’s intended use.

We start by building out pages for your main areas of specialty. You don’t just offer promotional products in general; you might offer trade show packages, company polo shirts, school spirit, and the list goes on. In short, we make sure your top keyword phrases have substantial content pages on your website.

4. Systematic Link Building

Although there are indications that inbound links are loosing importance as a ranking factor, they still play an important role so we continue to include it in our work plan. Once your website has been optimized, we implement a system to proactively obtain quality inbound links. We use methods that include creating and distributing quality relevant content in various formats, social media bookmarking, posting comments on relevant social media networks and your client’s industry specific blogs.

We will be building out your listings (uploading photos, posts, videos, special offers, etc.) and optimizing them for top placement.
